I bought this matcha as my first matcha to try at home and even after doubling the recommended amount, it still tasted like nothing. I tried doing more matcha and less milk and I think I would have to use half the tin to get my desired taste. Do not purchase.

I‘ve never jumped on the Emma Chamberlain train on Youtube back then or now, but apparently she has GREAT matcha. Everyone raved about it, so as a matcha enthusiast I just had to see what this was all about. All to say: it did NOT disappoint at all, rather I was really impressed by the quality of the product. The matcha tin is of good quality. When I opened up the lid, I was shocked. The color of the matcha? GREENER THAN GREEN! As soon as I poured the hot water in and whisked it with my chasen: it was so aromatic, like you could just SMELL the tencha leaves. Also, I was able to create such good microfoam with my chasen! All in all: as a girly living in Austria, where you cannot get good matcha, it was totally worth my money and I would definitely order it again. 10/10 - thank you, Emma!
